Facilitating effective partnership
Working in partnership has never been more important for the learning and skills sector. The Gateway process and 14-19 Implementation Plans mean local authorities, schools and colleges will create, develop and sustain effective partnerships to ensure successful delivery of the new diplomas.
But while few disagree with the rhetoric, making partnerships work is hard. Partner organisations invariably have different ways of working, different priorities and even conflicting values.
To address these issues, LSN Solutions has produced a service called Facilitating Effective Partnerships, designed for organisations that wish either to develop a partnership or to enhance an existing one.
The FEP Solution
The facilitating effective partnerships service combines assessment, training and direct support to assist the successful delivery of partnerships. Key outcomes from the service include:
- A clear picture of where a partnership is now and how well it is doing - or what options are available for an individual organisation.
- An understanding of what makes partnerships work and what makes them fail.
- A clear path to improving the value from existing partnerships or setting up new partnerships to succeed.
- Ongoing support to embed the new processes or to support new partnerships.
