Pursuing Excellence, the QIA National Improvement Strategy targets all FE staff to be doing at least 30 hours of effective Continuing Professional Development (cpd) a year from 2010. Moreover, a cpd entitlement has been specifically recognised in the FE White paper ‘Further Education: Raising Skills, Improving Life Chances’.
